Hello some permutations of the original design. May come up with wholly different designs from this later on, if, as mentioned earlier, time (rather, laziness) permits. Or may add danger tape to border the graphic (danger tape always looks badass). These designs may be in front or behind. The Team NUS words will be on whichever side the graphic is not. With the tilted climber the comparison between the two isn't as obvious (and flipping the afro dude didn't look very nice).
T-shirt design
Hey I came up with another design for the team shirt... yes I know the concept is lame. Was trying to copy the "Communist Party" idea from Threadless and the ipod advertisement aesthetic. Don't know if we're allowed to put the Team NUS words. If so maybe on the back? Or perhaps the front should be the rock climber image only and the back of the shirt the rock star only. Comments and suggestions? May do another design if I have time

5 Things!
Hello hello! hoho sorry this took so long, I keep meaning to blog but somehow manage to get sidetracked each time.
1) I am left-handed! So is the rest of my immediate family actually. (that means my mum, dad and bro) Sometimes I wonder if I'm really left-handed or it was just a monkey-see-monkey-do thing. haha!
2) I love to eat but my appetite fluctuates very drastically. Some days I can be not hungry at all, but some days I'll get hungry every two hours! Strange thing is, my stomach doesn't fit much food at one go even though it may be growling. ): Oh and sometimes I get very specific cravings for certain types of food.. is that weird?
3) I love PEANUT BUTTER and soybean milk (haha Clara you probably know I like soy products alr)! I'm a diehard fan of Adams 100% natural crunchy peanut butter. Btw, peanut butter is healthy, but only certain types (so if you've been avoiding pb because it's "high-fat" and all, DON'T avoid it anymore! ask me if you want to know more about the nutrition!) oh and I think Mr Bean's cheese pancake and Jollibean's peanut pancake are awesome (:
4) I like cats! I think they're far more likeable than small dogs. Small dogs are really annoying (with their high-pitched barks). Big dogs are okay though! I used to have a cat but he died sometime last year ): we're still not sure what exactly caused his death but we think it might've been his asthma (yes cats can have asthma too, and they also use inhalers)
5) I've never had chickenpox before! Even when my dad and bro were having it at the same time and I was a kid.. I most certainly hope I don't ever get chickenpox though! Btw, did you know that shingles is actually a reactivated form of the chickenpox virus? Once you get chickenpox, the virus stays dormant in your body even after the chickenpox outbreak. This means you can only get shingles AFTER you've gotten chickenpox. (oh bonus point, I like to read up on trivia! So I tend to know some weird or random stuff.)
Okay that's all! Next up, WINFRED!

Welcome back to the Healthy Climber issue 2: ONIONS
In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu. Many of the farmers and their family had contracted it and many died. The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. She gave him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in the onion. It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.
there was an article that said
to cut both ends off an onion put one end on a fork and then place the forked end into an empty jar...placing the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs...sure enough it happened just like that...the onion was a mess and the person began to feel better.
in another article, it was said that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.
FELICIA'S BELIEVE OR NOT?
up to you=)
no harm trying to save some trees from your sniffing=)

uhhuh.. its my turn uhhuh uhhuh, i like it uhhuh uhhuh. 5 things u wanna know bout me.. in fact i can go on and on, but dont wan make u all mesmerised for me larh.. so i say 5 ok? *flutter eyes*
1) i really like music. haha. i like to create music. that includes. anything that can make noise. im good at beat boxing too, ask me show u. well although i kinda drop out of class when i went for piano lessons in kindergarden one..
( the start of the exam failuring trend in my life- btw, my favorite number is 44.. cuz i kinda always get 44/100 for exams and its my house number as well =D )
so then nontheless, with a never-give-up-bleks attitude, i picked up guitar, piano, drums and SINGING thru the ages.. involved in 3 bands below-attached a video for ur entertainment with one of my best band=) hmm.. im kinda 30% arty-farty. yup! i like plays and theatre shows.. jio me if u're interested too! the hidden side of arvin eh? see the video for more info... muaha.
well there was this incident.. in BMT, when i was kinda injuried seriously (e origin of my butt injury) i was slacking while the rest of the platooon guys did their run and obstacle race. well i was kinda bored so i just hug on the pillar. then kena caught by my Sir, and forced to shout " im a koala bear, im a koala bear!!" 50 times in front of the whole bloody company... just at that moment, my SSM ( bmt's discipline master) came by and tot i was being funny, so gave me 1 weekend extra duties =.= my helpful Sir didnt defend me, of cuz. if i ever see that Sir again.. i will sing into his ear at the top of my voice.
3) i eat a lot. i love food. omigosh. recently into eatin 6 full meals a day. haha yup.. nv used to be above 53kg, but now im like 59-ish kg already. totally loving it. lets start food hunt soon eh? hmm speakin of food... my worse experience of the classic story of eatin an apple and found a maggot.. just that the difference was that it was somehow too short to be a maggot................. yeah i vormit everything out aft i saw that. eew.
4) i love kids! have my own outdoor adventure consultancy since a yr and half back, and our aim is to provide the chance for needy kids who dont hav e means to go to such camps to learn more bout themselves and develop more personal skills. we do high elements, water expedition etc. if u share the common interest feel free join me for my next few projects during next yr's mega holiday!=) it all started with my lil god bro and sis. they're damn cute! it was in that period when kids started callin me instructor froggy too hahha.
i used to be in track before climbin.. did ok, finished my career in running during J2 where i hit 50.8 secs for 400m. satisfied, injuried and worn out, i wanted to try something new in when im in university.. then i was thinking, " basket.. i have been to almost all climbin competition in the last 4 yrs to support you-know-who... must as well go and try try lah eh?" and so im here, proudly in the climbin club with my fellow freshies and pinkboi.=) TATA thats it. =)
ps. pinkboi got caught standing only in his underwear in my room by a girl in my block who happens to be his tutorial mate=) SEE YA. next up... still got who nv write sia. i shoot senior bochap, next up HENG HONG, to talk about the STUNS DONE IN GYM. eh sherman upload the videos!
Wednesday, October 28
Okay, let me talk about myself :)
Firstly, I used to have very short hair in J1! Short meaning that I had side burn and my hair couldn’t even touch my collar at the back and a lot of people thought that something happened to me that caused me to make such a harsh decision. BUT, I didn’t cut short hair voluntarily! I went to the salon with no particular hairstyle in mind so I let the hairdresser decide for me. In the end, I came out of the salon with the super short hair. LOL. During the period when I had short hair, I was called “ah boy” several times. Some of them realized that I was a girl when I spoke but there was this stall vendor that called me “ah boy” without realizing anything!
Oh and before I joined climbing in J1, I was in dance. I was asked by my mum to join dance in primary school so as to grow taller. Haha. I didn’t know why I believed that dancing would really allow me to grow taller. Anyway, I continued dancing in secondary school but I did a different genre. After I moved on to JC, I decided that I had to try something different, so here I am doing something completely different, CLIMBING! :D
I love to eat a lot, especially snacks and I will get hungry every 2 hours. That’s why I need to stock up a substantial amount of food at home and I spend most of my allowance on food. :)
A lot of people always ask me why I look so tired all the time. Yes I know I have a pair of panda eyes but I sleep a lot too! haha. I have no idea why the dark circles never want to go away despite all the sleep so I will probably look tired for my entire life. Lol. Speaking about my eyes, my right eye is a lazy eye and thus when it comes to night time, the difference in the size of my eyes becomes very great. Also, because of my lazy eye, I had to go for an eye surgery when I was 5. Back then, I was very excited about the surgery because the doctors told me there would be biscuits for me after the surgery! Lol.
Lastly, I think I am accident prone. I always get a lot of bruises on my legs and arms and even cuts on my face. The weird thing is I don’t know where I got those most of the time. Lol
Next up, Arvin!

Just a shy guy
Hey yo! Took a while to write this entry because I had no idea wad to write. Still doesnt but I shall still try.
1.) I'm a left hander. But it only applies to writing and nothing else. I do every other thing with my right but recently this year i realised if i try to start learning something new ( squash, table tennis etc) with my left hand then it all works fine. Being a left hander supposedly means im stronger with the left side of my body but it doesnt work that way for me at all. One good example, my left eye has a much much higher myopia level than my right. I have a left master eye but i doubt it does any work at all.
2.) I have extremely sweaty palms which means i m always sweating on my palms even when im doing nothing. The only time i dont suffer that is when im in an air-conditioned room. This is the reason why pink boi aka daniel refuses to do ARC after me since the holds will be all wet. But i suspect that the truth is he just cant concentrate with me climbing in front of him... Anyway sweaty palms has gotten me nth but trouble. I rmb I was punished by my teacher for smearing the words written in pencil. I didnt tell her the truth cus i was too innocent then. Still am now though if u are wondering.
3.) I am a very shy boy. Most who know me see me as an introvert sometimes. I hope to open up more in the future though. lol
4.) I love to eat especially Japanese cuisine. I love going for buffet because it gives me the biggest bang for my buck. I used to go frequently during the period of time when I was trying to gain weight. I gave it up because I wasnt making much progress and only my health deteriorated. Talking about weight, I lost 4 kgs after sch started for 3 weeks because I couldnt and still cant find the time to eat the amount I used to. Got me depressed for a while but o well.
5.) I have been harassed by gays more than a normal guy should experience. Sounds wrong but this is one of the reasons why. Most of the time when I am at a public toilet and if a gay happens to be in it, he will walk to the urinal beside me and keep staring at me while im doing my stuff. That's damn gross. I had one especially bad experience when this guy came out of his cubicle and decided to pee again next to me when the entire row of urinals was empty. He was staring at me throughout the time I was there. This happened at the toilet at the end of City Link. My ratio of toilet visits to gay harassment there is currently 1:1. Thus I haven used that toilet whenever im there for quite some time alr. How I wish I was attracting girls instead of guys. wth.
hm this is it. Next in line to write is... Yu Xin!

crystal's 5 things i.e. RANTING.
there's this very nostalgic feeling because the last time i've typed in this blogger window was way back in secondary school.
#1
i love to sleep. now before you all go "so do i and everyone else out there.." my case would probaably be towards the slightly more severe side. as a typical slp lover, classes are built to fall alsp to - the drone of the teacher/lecturer and having to sit in the same spot for the entire time. it just puts me to slp. regardless of the number of hours i slpt the night before. its not that i'm doing it on purpose to look like some bo chap kid; i just can't help it. the effort spent in trying to keep awake, admittably, its more to try and salvage my self image. because 3 out of 5 times i fall alsp in class, its not unnoticeable.
and i shall elaborate. haaah. its actually surprising me how much i'm writing about this first point. this is one of the many embarassing incidents. during one of my bio lectures in TJ, the lecturer was instructing us to amend the enzyme structure in the diagram - one of the catalytic domains, where there's suppose to be another domain or sth. so i was drawing in the domain, and as i was trying to listen to the lecturer, i was falling aslp. and my classmate commented that my enzyme structure had an extra newly invented domain. and actually i think i laughed the hardest cause it really was quite funny. another thing is that i found out not too long ago when my classmate went back to TJ to visit, he asked our econs teacher Mrs Beetsma if she remembered me, and she said something to the extent of "of course. how could i forget that swaying tree.." HAHHA. she was always so nice and i dunno why she doesnt wake me up when im sitting in front during her tutorial class. incident no. 3: i once fell alsp on the bus. standing. it was 969 which took the expressway all the way to yishun. one continuous long ride. plus it was late. hmm. the worse part of it was even having jolted awake, i couldn help falling alsp again. someone should have just given this poor girl a seat right? HAHHA. incident no. 4: i fell alsp at the nus bus stop waiting for 95. 'nough said. my friend coincidentally alighted from one of the shuttles and saw me, and wouldnt stop going on about it for at least a month aft tt. it used to be about how i'm always thinking about food, then it got replaced by how i fell alsp at the busstop.
unglam is my middle name.
oh btw ANDY. i really wasnt slping tt day ya! haah
#2:
hmm. not sure what to write here but thought i'd just share incidents of how i had lost and found my wallet. since the last incident was so recent. last sunday morning i left my wallet on the bus seat after alighting. i assumed my wallet HAD to be somewhere in my bag even tho i couldn find it to tap. plus i had just woken up. *ahem. Then I panicked and with that panic stricken face I considered running after the bus, which I did till the next busstop, before I realised the futility. so I flagged for a cab and caught up with the bus about 6 stops down.
It made me conclude that being deprived of sleep makes me lose things. I hadn slpt that night before the morning incident. And during that week my thumbdrive vapourised when I was walking from the science co-op to the science canteen after having printed a lab report I stayed up the entire night for. I still have no idea where it went even after backtracking that stretch of distance a gazillion times.
The other incident I lost and found my wallet was during a family get-together at my relative’s place. Apparently my aunt’s maid had taken it. the best part is that I would never have found out if I hadn’t been at the right place at the right time. one or two weeks aft losing my wallet, I went to my aunt’s place to visit her. She was sending the maid back to the agency because the maid had a personality that didn seem normal. So she was packing up the maid’s belongings because the maid wasn there. Being several months pregnant, she couldn’t bend down to put the maid’s clothes into the bag so she called me into the room to help her do so. And that’s when I saw that familiar looking wallet in the bag. I had even dreamt of finding my wallet in the car boot after I had lost it. it was so close to being sent to Indonesia.
Any of yall had weird lost-wallet experiences too?
#3:
CRYSTAL is actually not printed in my birthcert. But I didn’t name myself either. My parents didn include it in. I like my surname. I’m always at the back on class registers.
#4:
Life science is not my first choice; it was my fourth. NTU gave me my first choice. which was also what I had placed as first choice for NUS. After the whole lot of effort (discussing with family, my brother going to the extent of getting his ngee ann poly life science course mate to convince me not to choose life science etc. ) in deciding to NOT put science as my first choice for NUS, I was back to the same dilemma upon receiving the acceptance letters. Choosing between what I’m interested in, and what’s practical for me in the future. Funny how things work out.
#5:
I play the oboe. Which is a woodwind instrument. I was from the symphonic band in secondary school. And still am part of the alumni band, which explains my absence from Saturday trainings :X
That’s it. oh plus i really wanna sky dive someday. Or paraglide. Either seems safer than bungee jumping. And I think swimming in the sea without all the gear can sometimes be more enjoyable than with all the diving gear. But maybe only because I’ve only been in tioman waters.
Desmond you’re next. Wahha.

NUS Jacket
anw, im here regarding the printing of the word ROCKCLIMBING behind the NUS sports jacket!this applies to those who have the jackets already!
pls tell me if you are interested in making it, and if any of the seniors out there have the template for the previous CLIMBING embroidery, pls send it to me!i need to pass it to the person, otherwise either myself or someone MORE ARTISTIC can volunteer to design it. its pretty simple. just need to make a good font type with the word ROCKCLIMBING, i will email it to the person and viola, we have personalised team jackets that call ourselves ROCKCLIMBERS!=)
i think i will make it easier to poll here, those who do not want the word on the jacket, can personally sms me!=)otherwise, i will take it that everyone wants it!!!
i will pass the form for all those interested to write their names and contact number during trg 2ml!(monday 5 oct 2009)if you cannot come for trg, tell a friend to write the name for u!
if you are wondering about the cost, i think the previous batch paid $8.50 for the embroidery. i will try to get it cheaper if i can. and EXCO!will there be any subsidy?hahaha=)
Friday, October 2
1. i am colour-deficient. yes, that means i only see things in black, white and grey. ok maybe not la but who knows, some people out there may be like that. i'm only level 1 colour-deficient, meaning i can't differentiate red and green that well. and yes, in case you're wondering, i can drive. the funny thing is everytime i'm up on the wall struggling to figure out which tile to go for, and people shout to me "THE GREEN ONE!" or "THAT RED ONE!", haha...that doesn't quite help man. i'll be like "@#$% WHICH ONE?!" and next thing you know i'm too tired to hang on.
2. i love food and i enjoy steamboat the most. better if it's buffet steamboat. oh ya, and i'm a very soup person. think's it probably cos i'm canto. canto people love soup, especially those double-boiled ones. gotta have soup during meals man. i can speak cantonese too!
3. There was a point in my life when my dream ambition was to be president. yeah, no kidding. somehow the idea of having my portrait hung in the hall of every primary, secondary school and JC seemed very thrilling. i went to the extent of checking out the requirements to apply for presidency. something to work towards to. but well that was a few years back. now i'm more more realistic, i wanna be prime minister.
4. i did mostly feet related sports like soccer and track for the past many many years. thought it'd be fun to try out rockclimbing. turns out its not so much about arms but fingers too. and i realise i'm not very good at heel hook/toe hook/meat hook. i dont make as good a hooker as the confused boy below.
5. i had dengue fever when i was 14. pretty bad. was hospitalised for a week, perpetually puking, couldn't eat, was on drip, and i lost about 5kg. not a very desirable thing for a guy. but for girls, if you ever wanna lose weight you know what to do. go sleep in a drain or beside potted plants or something. it may just be your lucky day.
alrite, so that's all about me for now. next up - CRYSTAL YICK!
Saturday, September 26

hello hello look how hardworking i am! (actually i dont know why my classmates were taking pics in lecture anyway) righto so i have to share 5 exciting things about myself now. thankyou randall.
1. i am deathly irrationally afraid of snails. they freak me out so much that the other day i took a huge detour up and down 2 flights of stairs just to avoid walking near one.
2. i'm immune to chickenpox. i've never had it and i didn't have to get vaccinated either! hopefully i'll stay immune
3. i might seem quite aloof and cynical at times but i have a weakness when it comes to soppy parts in movies. i cried like a baby watching shows like up, wall.e, lilo & stitch...even some sad emotional mtvs can make me weep. very malu but i just can't help it la haha
4. i don't eat/drink chin chow. for some reason i just really dont like the smell & taste
5. i....got into climbing quite serendipitously. at the time a rather large bunch of my classmates were all in the very-newly established VJ rockclimbing and one day i thought i'd just give it a try, which turned into going more regularly, which turned into me sticking around while people stopped climbing and moved on. and now i feel like i wouldnt know who i am (or what i'd do) if not for climbing. though i've climbed for awhile now sometimes i still feel so new to the sport, and sometimes i wonder what drives me and keeps me coming back for more.
hopefully i'll be able to find myself as a climber here (:
okay gotta go move on with life (took me ages to think of what to talk about, especially the last one) so i guess now i get to arrow...the golden-haired WAYNE! haha. seeya soon!

GOOD TO KNOW!!!!
Pineapple is high in manganese, a mineral that is critical to development of strong bones and connective tissue. A cup of fresh pineapple will give you nearly 75% of the recommended daily amount. It is particularly helpful to older adults, whose bones tend to become brittle with age.
Bromelain, a proteolytic enzyme, is the key to pineapple's value. Proteolytic means "breaks down protein", which is why pineapple is known to be a digestive aid. It helps the body digest proteins more efficiently.
Bromelain is also considered an effective anti-inflammatory(finally a cure for climber's inflammed joints?). Regular ingestion of at least one half cup of fresh pineapple daily is purported to relieve painful joints common to osteoarthritis. It produces mild pain relief. In Germany, bromelain is approved as a post-injury medication because it is thought to reduce inflammation and swelling.
Orange juice is a popular liquid for those suffering from a cold because it is high in Vitamin C. Fresh pineapple is not only high in this vitamin, but because of the bromelain, it has the ability to reduce mucous in the throat. If you have a cold with a productive cough, add pineapple to your diet. It is commonly used in Europe as a post-operative measure to cut mucous after certain sinus and throat operations. Those individuals who eat fresh pineapple daily report fewer sinus problems related to allergies. In and of itself, pineapple has a very low risk for allergies.
Pineapple is also known to discourage blood clot development. This makes it a valuable dietary addition for frequent fliers and others who m! ay be at risk for blood clots.
An old folk remedy for morning sickness is fresh pineapple juice. It really works! Fresh juice and some nuts first thing in the morning often make a difference. It's also good for a healthier mouth. The fresh juice discourages plaque growth.

and yes, pls dont go ingest all the pineapples in the world after reading this!
MODERATION IS THE KEY WORD!=)

Wah tio sabo. Hey guys, randall here. Sorry I took so long, I got abit caught up in work, didn't realise :X. Anyway, 5 things about me:
1) I enjoy good food almost just as much as I do climbing. Like CHEAP, good food. One of my favourite pasttimes was to go food hunting on weekends. And I'm not particularly picky about the kinds of food I eat. As long as its nice, I'll eat it (:.
2) I got into law quite by accident. I was actually supposed to study accountancy, but I appealed for a law/acc double. So I went down for the interview and the written test and everything. Then, at the end of it they were like, your results are not good enough for us to offer you a double, but we can offer you a single degree in law. Haha so I was thinking, after all that trouble, aiya, might as well. Hah, mistake man.
3) One of my other favourite pasttimes is actually sleeping. Optimistically, I would love to have at least 10 hours a day. My army friends found it pretty hilarious cause during lectures I would always be sitting in the front, and I would always be sleeping, like next to the lecturer :X.
4) I'm actually suffering from a chronic finger injury (way too much crimping). Its a cartilage overuse injury, and its actually pretty common. The middle joints of my middle and ring fingers are swollen, and I can't close my fingers fully. Sometimes, after a hard session, it also hurts to shake peoples' hands.
5) Lastly, well I used to, and am still, shit scared of high walling. Its not the falling that I don't like, its hitting the wall immediately after that I'm afraid of. Minus the wetness, I really really prefer deep water soloing to high wall climbing.
Okie dokie, that's all I can think of right now, time to go prepare for tomorrow's lectures. Damn no life can. Anyway, next up, NICOLE!

credit goes to edwin and (and kai xuan) for the successful creation of my first post. its chloe here guys! and here goes the first thing about me... i have never blogged before, thats why i must acknowledge edwin's efforts, for he was the one who taught me how to blog. im really lousy with technology. you can say im afraid of high tech stuff, like iphones, blackberries and macbooks. i think i might just hang the system with a touch. this explains two things. one - it explains why im using an old school sony ericsson w310i and refuse to upgrade. two - it explains why firos (my bf) had to girlfriend-proof his digi cam.
the second thing about me. ive been climbing since 2006. that makes me three years old in this business. i joined climbing because i wanted to try a sport which was different from the rest, a sport which didnt involve running! i hated running, and i still do (so i understand why jia wei whines on mondays). let me tell you how it went at the climbing booth during the cca fair at tp back in 2006 (lala's probably heard this story before).
"er excuse me, can i ask you a question?"
"yes?"
"do you guys have to run alot during trainings?"
"oh, no la, abit only."
"okay :)"
and i signed up. and here i am now, stuck on this path of no return.
third. the funny thing was, i was in track and field back in primary school. i ran alot. but mostly i was into sprints. i liked running then. i guess i grew to old to run. before joining the track team, i was into gynastics. zhao xiu was a senior, and the coach made her impart her skills to me because she won in the previous year. i came back the next year with a trophy too:) i used to be able to walk around on a handstand, just like crystal now. and i used to be able to do splits >180 deg. oh well, i USED TO.
fourth. i had a great headstart when i was a novice climber, simply because i had muscle cells that hypertrophied faster than they should in a women's body. now ive got arms the size of yi xiong's - according to him (and eyes the size of clara's plus fingers the size of hotdogs). so i won a few comps here and there, and i even got myself the sportswoman of the year and all-rounder award when i graduated from tp. and then came my industrial attachment, which, suay-ly enough, took up most of my time and energy. so i stopped training. that was like a u-turn from the headstart i got, and it didnt stop there. i started working full time not long after, and things did not get better. but now im back in school. and im gona get back on my feet, or rather, on the wall.
last things about me in a nutshell. i was from dunman high school, graduated with 7 points, went to poly anw cus bio is cool(: ive got a memory retention period like that of a dory's in finding nemo. im super sensitive to the F-word, so dont use it no matter how sick a boulder route may be and im a lacto-ovo vegetarian (egg mayo sandwich at subway rocks!).
and im done with my list of five. now its your turn -RANDALL!
Friday, September 4
hi all, this is andy. i got arrowed by bertrand to do this.
i'm supposed to blog five things about me. okay firstly i'm not a really serious person, but i can look rather fierce sometimes. someone told me i look like a murderer sometimes. anyway i think that's damn cui for a first point so i'll start my first point in the next paragraph.
i'm from air pistol when i was in jc. i bet you guys probably thought i'm from canoeing or dragonboating but nah my cca only requires me to stand there for one hour forty five mins and shoot finish 60 lead pellets as accurately as possible. i think if i shoot anymore i'll go cockeye because my right eye's vision is deteriorating because i shoot focusing my right eye all the time. after doing such a passive individualistic sport for two years i've made up my mind to do sometime more dynamic and thus here i am. i tell myself die die not to join dragonboating because there are more meaningful ways i can use my body for besides doing a repetitive action all the time. i think rockclimbing requires strategising and overall body finnese. okay okay do i sound like i'm trying to sound politically correct cuz i'm not.
anyway the next thing about me is i like to sing. freaking love to sing. i went for the voices trial too but didnt make it. cui. anyway here who likes to karaoke one? those bathroom singers don't be shy. you can sms me we go karaoke one day. i know this place called ten dollar k which well, the name speak for itself.
okay next up, pt number 3. shag. i've never sustained an injury more serious than a sprain on the right ankle in primary two. do i sound like someone who spends his time infront of the conputer all the time heh. i hope that this characteristic of mine doesnt change after i join rockclimbing. rockclimbing is not that dangerous.... right?
4th, last time when i was young i'm super hyper and will climb almost everything fearlessly. skin peeling of my hand is nothing new as i have fell of monkey bars and slide down ropes from two storeys high before. the only thing i haven't climbed properly are rockwalls. i've climbed over barbed fences too. it was rather scary i must say, needa shift body weight properly and watch where i step. getting lacerated by those barbs aint a nice sight.
lastly, i suspect i have obsessive compulsive disorder. i can freaking eat duck rice every meal for an entire year when i was in primary six until i decided i've killed enough ducks. now i eat cai fan all the time, which is slightly better because you can vary the dishes. i listen to a song on loop for days too. the last song i did that to was supermassive blackhole. it's the kinda music that pumps me up. however don't be mistaken i'm actually the kind who likes slow ballads too. hey why am i starting pt number six.
okay i think i talked too much. here cones the sabo part. i think ill just sabo CHLOE. alright my work here is done time to memorise jap dialogues. oyasumi nasai! *somehow this blog entry doesn't seem very appropriate on the blog but here i go.
