What we did AFTER the food hunt

So, you would think after A WHOLE DAY of eating(fish porridge, bak kut teh, mango smoothie, carrot cake, chicken rice, cheese fries, curry chicken, lor mee, ah balling, beef noodles, laksa, fish and chips, yakitori, jap noodles, chicken pie, pig organ's soup, XO bee hoon...) and running ard, we would be FULL and TIRED. Apparently not! We bought 5 very pretty (and of course yummy) cakes from an atas restaurant (ricotti?? sorry i can't rem the name..hahaha) and proceeded to pig out on cakes and ice cream.. =)

And AFTER THAT, we tot since we have SO MUCH food vouchers for Tong shui hongkong cafe, we might as well use some. (we have abt. $750 tong shui vouchers..)Heres out feast :

and us after finishing the food :
SUPER FULL!!

and of course we did what climbers ALWAYS do to entertain ourselves. Arm wrestling!

FOODHUNT was really FUN! lets have more pple join next year, and we'll aim to clinch all the prizes!! wahaha...

so no one's going to blog about boulderactive

Is that why we call it Open CATegory..?

We ought to learn from this cat.
Look at how calmly she planned her route.
How committed she did the jump start!
The match hand at the grey ledge...
then intermediate to the ladder...
and the grandeur of the finishing traverse to the balcony!
Impeccable!
And of course...
She's got a nice tail!

Monday and Tuesday

Thank you to all the year ones who came by for dinner on Monday and the subsequent chill out session at Wala Wala in Holland Village. It was certainly a pleasant surprise to have so many people there and the Vikings would had been proud. You can really see that the older seniors are happy and contented (but they never show it lah as they are men).

I felt that the moving of stuff to PS today was done in a jiffy too since I was not there to wait for the lorry driver who got lost in NUS. I got an incredible sense of timing and thanks to that, I arrived just in the nick of time to *cough* help out to do stuff. We ended up eating chicken rice at some place. Below is a picture of four people who got no idea of what they signed up for when /edit: some of them volunteered to stay overnight! :) Notice the unintentional beam of light shining through (I got talent in taking pictures of women).

Climb Asia Openhouse

I think everyone had loads of fun! The routes were plentiful and mostly quite well set, the crowd was fun and friendly and the food was good (And free). Got to congratulate Climb-Asia for growing into what they are today and promoting the sport.

Too bad most of the people left after dinner cos the Dyno competition was qutie fun with Shannon throwing out loads of freebies (Damn I wanted that 8a chalkbag!!! He even threw out an evolv Pontas) and Hazlee and Hatta very impressive with their double dyno skills. The fire show later at night was entertaining too with Hanif and Zaki swinging the poi very expertly whilst Hatta was twirling his stick like Monkey God. Those 3 dudes have seriously Hot bodies (even hotter than the fire maybe) cos Eli and Shumei (cos Yap not ard) was drooling until there was a puddle.

afterthoughts

Hope everyone brought back something from the mock-competition. The route difficulty should be near the Boulderactive's standard so this is some good preparation.

Any afterthoughts or dreams to share?
Need to get anything off ur chest before Boulderactive?
Hope to hear some words from everyone!

For myself, I felt that I was relaxed when I was off the wall but very focused the moment I get onto the wall which is the best state for me to climb in. Hope to replicate this mental state during Boulderactive!
