Weclimb

Just thought I had to share this video I picked up from deadpointmag.com.

The editing is great, nice music, there are no grades shown and the rock looks great. But what's nice about this video is that these guys are giving back to community and charity by doing what they love. Pretty much like what the Climbing Sub-Club is doing. Good job, guys.

Maybe you can think about giving back to the community in some sense. If climbing has made life more bearable or colourful for you, maybe it is worthwhile to spread the love.

Enjoy the video.

It's a (Boulder) Season to be Jolly

Another boulder comp video: The recent ABS Comp held last week. An unexpected champ for the guys category who owned the usual favourites :) And the volumes and walls are pretty cool.

The ABS 12 National Championships: Stop #1 of the 2011 UBC Pro Tour. Boulder, CO. from NE2C on Vimeo.

Anyway, after every comp Sean McColl participates in, I'll religiously visit his blog and and hope that he'll post a writeup for that comp, which he usually does. I like his comp blog posts cos he describes the route very vividly and I can almost imagine how it's like to be in his place trying the route and competing in a comp at an international level.

shameless plug (:

hey friends!

i will be starting clinics in the very near future, and so if you're interested in some potential cheap and friendly dental services at FOD, we have free screenings for you!

the sessions will be a preliminary screening to see if you are suitable for current or future treatment.

right now we are dealing with the specialization of periodontology (gum health), and if you are suitable for treatment, you can register and begin treatment as my patient!

alternatively if you have other conditions, you can either hold on for when i begin work on that field, or be referred for senior or post-graduate treatment. or you could visit your regular dentist outside :p

monday 14th and 21st Feb, 10am-1pm are the first slots i've got at the moment, but there will be more opportunities in march, so do let me know if you would like to come for screening!

thanks!
Nicole
