The Day KS lost his friend

KS used to be a nice little boy. He used to be lighter than me but now he weighs a whopping 70 kg! While me, being the all fair and dainty climber miraculously now weighs less than him at a nice number of 67.2 i-am-lighter-than-ks-now-huahuahua-kg.

But he still climbs so much better than me x_x

But that is not the point of today! Today after the training at ITE Balastier, we went to eat at Golden Mile haha! I had char kway teow for my entree, ayam penyet for mains with the side dish of satay...and I am still lighter than KS! GLORY. FAME. And you realized that the past two paragraphs are just another ego-stroking session with me.

Here is what we found in the gym today, much to our dismay. Today is the day where KS and us lost a dear friend. His name is Brain the Pink Tile. Yes, the tiles that you guys love to hold so much that puts cucumbers to shame.

KS: Pinky! Pinky! Do not leave us! (those legs are Peng Yang's...he is still single)

The middle part broke off, erm...so now, you can't even screw in any screw into the tile. The tile just lost its middle part la, to put it mildly. We are not sure who did that as we did not climb on Friday. The dinos who where there today already saw the tile being turned but they did not realize the severity of it until we decided to check it out.

In short, we do not know who did that to the tile that has made climbing in NUS and all the Boulderactives so much more interesting. Anyway, the tile is in the gym now and some of us (notably KS, as the brain is really his good friend) is trying to find a solution to salvage it. Any brilliant ideas please forward them to KS or the team.

I leave you with this poignant picture of different generations coming together for a common cause: to salvage Pinky.

Pinky, it was fun. Although it has been a short time, you did made my climbing fun. Do post up comments on your memorable moments with Pinky too. I think that she would really appreciate it.

Goodbye Pinky :(
